yes, on a pixel per pixel level it is. I personally prefer the way the x trans sensor renders skin and night colors. The GR is great if you need crazy sharp files.

yup, the Ricoh has one of the best sensor/lens combo of all APSC sized cams.
Is the image quality of the Ricoh GR that much better than the Sony RXII? At its widest point the Sony is at f1.8 where the Ricoh is f2.8.
