I hope this shot gets you as excited as I was when I realized the Fuji X100s nailed focus here in pretty dim lighting on a moving subject. I am working on part two of the X100s review, should have it up late tomorrow or the next day.

I finally got my hands on the Sony RX1. Excellent timing since I also have the Fuji X100s here. You might remember I was totally blown away by the RX100, a great street camera (click here for my Paris street shots) AND video camera (click here for the Sandy Hurricane video). Once “Newness” wears off, our judgement tends to be more level headed. The loss of gear euphoria also occurs when I get my hands on a new camera or lens during a model shoot or an assignment. Because at the end of the day it is about the pictures and not the camera
