Street shot of the day: the birdman watches: and what happened to my Fuji’s?

shot with the GH4 and the 14mm 2.5 pancake wide open

I am sure you guys noticed my beloved Fuji X cams haven’t been out much since I added the GH4 to my camera collection. I still love the Fuji’s and the X trans sensor, my favorite APSC sized sensor for people photography, however, when roaming the streets, af performance on the GH4 is so good that I am willing to live with the trade off in image quality. The GH4 sensor is quite good but can’t match the X-trans in dynamic range and skin rendering. For my type of street shooting, af performance is more important than image quality. And then there is video, being able to use the GH4 on assignments and shoot 4k is another huge bonus. At this point I gave up waiting for Fuji to integrate usable video, now I am seriously wondering if I should……yup, you guessed it………sell them, my beloved Fuji’s………
You can get the GH4 here at BH, on Ebay or at Adorama.
