The best camera is the one that’s with you. Shot with the

Panasonic Lumix GH2 and the 20mm 1.7, Program mode. I have tried many high end point and shoot enthusiast cameras for street photography (Canon G12, Samsung TL500, Panasonic Lumix LX-5, Olympus XZ-1, to mention a few) I have also tried the Sony Nex-5, Olympus E-PL2 and Panasonic GF2. I finally settled on the GH2. The superb 20mm 1.7 and 14mm 2.5 pancake are the main reason for going this route. The GH2 is small (relatively speaking of course), has very fast AF, articulated LCD, an incredible EVF,intuitive manual controls via knobs and buttons and mounting a pancake lens practically doesn’t increase the footprint of the camera. Image quality is above and beyond all enthusiast snap shot cameras I have tried, you might wonder what about the Nex-5, E-PL2 and GF2, image quality is not an issue here, but I prefer the GH2 for my style of shooting. I really liked the Olympus XZ-1, this camera is a lot of fun to use, however the main dial and rotating ring are way to loose when speed is essential and it doesn’t take much to change the settings accidentally. The best way to find the camera that suits your needs, go to a store and get a ‘hands on’ demonstration, it helps reveal handling issues and it will help you make a decision especially if you are between two cameras.

I love the GH-1/2 B&W settings. Particularly Dynamic. Do you use any of these B&W settings? Or are these converted from RAW in Lightroom? Do you use Sliver Efex?

I have a comment, but not about the photograph, which, is a fine slice. Looks like yah shot it from hip. It is a concerning your proper use of language. “Shot with… I thank you for that. I have been trying to figure how to get the cast and crew on to my little camera body so I may shoot them, on it. I quite enjoy your site and your work, just saying…
