   Hi Jean Pierre. Shoot raw at full resolution. Example, 20mp, 5472 x 3648 pixels, downsample to 10mp, which equals 3888 x 2592 pixels, you gain quality and minimize noise

   Really nice pictures. You mention: “output at 10 megapixels instead of 20, unless you print large”. How do you do this and wat is a “large” print? I don’t understand your reply on andre’s similar question and in what way is there a “noticeable quality jump”?

   Hi Simon, LR or PS to process, shooting in S mode at a minimum of 1/125 or higher

   Hi Ande, most of the time, I shoot raw and I found a noticeable quality jump when “oversampling”, outputting at 10mp produces amazing results

   Regarding the Sony RX100:

   You mention “output at 10 megapixels instead of 20…” What do you mean ? I see no menu option for output size.

    I really like the ‘bus stop’ picture. It has a certain ‘perfect moment’ about it because of the three people, one looking out of the picture, another with her back to the camera and a third looking in the camera (from left to right, and height in picture decreasing in the same order). It really creates great lines in the picture.
    The japanese couple is pretty awesome too… the woman looks like she might be suffering from the ‘paris syndrome’

    Hey Rick, of course! I always shoot raw, and use ARC to dodge and burn like in the old days shooting film, convert to b/w and split tone in ACR. never opened in photoshop As for split toning, just play around until you find the color you like.
