    greetings
    michael

Hi Chris, I guess you didn’t get the one i am using, it is very well made – I also purchased it for the Sony Nex mount. Though the quality may vary, I had to return adpaters in the past (from different ebay vendors)

    Hello Mike,
I bought and received the adapter N/G-FX.
I’m a little apprehensive to use this adapter 7-8 times cheaper than a Novoflex with body Fujifilm.
    Regards,
    Chris.

Chris, it is a manual focus converter only, you can use AFD and AF G lenses with it and since the G lenses don’t have an aperture ring this adapter allows for manual aperture control via built in ring, you can use any lens with nikon mount

    Mike,
Have you used the AF motor from the 50mm G with the X-E1 ? Could you if you wanted it ?
I have only the Nikon lens AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 D ( AFD ) , therefore evidently manual focus only. I have also the Voigtlander 40mm f/2 Ultron SLII for Nikon mount, and I don’t think I ‘m going to buy the AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 G.
The 50mm ( equiv 76mm ? ) is very good for such portraits.

both have minor skin retouching, clone tool, nothing major, shot in raw, auto white balance, pretty much the way it was captured. the bw was desaturated then converted to dual tone, that’s all

    Hi Mike,
Thanks. I wonder if there is some post processing and which one ?
In color and White nad Black.
But I wouldn’t you to have to tell your recipes.
    Regards

Wonderful pictures. Could you use also other 50mm Nikkor and which ones ?
Which Nikon mount adapter do you use ?
    Regards,
    Chris
