Some photo sessions are better then others, and this particular one was the most fun in a long time (shot for Soma magazine, the people issue), usually I am all stressed out about the light, yes, the light is going, quick, what are you doing, where is the model, why are they changing outfits now – get out of the picture – you get the idea.
Photos shot with Canon 5D2, 24-70mm, 50mm, compact Quantum Flash system (mixed with daylight), Video with Panasonic GH1 and 14-140mm, Zeiss 28mm/2, hand held with the glidecam 4000.

Cheers for the quick reply Mike! My 20mm pancake is loud enough for my external mic to pick up drive noise, though I love it haha.
If the 140mm is good enough for you, then it’s certainly good enough for me. Thanks again mate! Much respect!!

thank you, martin. depends on what you shoot, it is really great for video when you need versatility and silent af during video. for still images, i prefer primes

Superb work Mike!! Thanks for the technical info yet again.
Do you recommend the Panasonic 14-140mm lens? I was thinking about getting it to complement the 20mm pancake on my G2.

    Warm Regards,

    martin
