turns your A7rII into a professional tool
if you are shooting tethered in the studio or from a monopod on location,switching between vertical/horizontal, the ability to adjust the distance of the L bracket to attach a mic, headphones, HDMI or thetering cable, the option to mount a cold shoe on top, always having the allen wrench handy to make adjustments, at the end of the day, it is worth it, I purchased a second one after the first one arrived. Since this isn’t a simple aluminum piece I highly doubt we will see cheap chinese knockoffs anytime soon.
