I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the first image.
thank you, Jeroen!
thanks much, Craig!
I prefer 1st image over other (how suprisingly). it is more natural and powerfull. Great pictures btw! Again, the E-X1 is delivering some stunning results. You really know how to use this tool!
The first one for sure Mike! I think it flows better and love the way the angle of her body draws me into the photo. The way the tail of the tape draws me up, the one way sign over and he face back out then it starts over again. I also love her expression and profile. Nice work as always!
Thanks Peter. When the subject is full figure and that far away, I am afraid so, it is an apsc sized sensor after all. As soon as the point of focus moves closer, bokeh becomes very pleasing (check this link to see this lens on portraits)
Nice Foto,I like the second one. but the bokeh of backgroung (tree) is very busy. I would prefer smooth bokeh! is it always so with this lens?
regards Peter
thanks for the feedback,Felix, Hendrik, fuxe1 and neil
@Hendrik, I have tried it in the the store, however, didn’t shoot with it,
looks like a very nice lens and what I have seen it produces great results, better then most kit zooms, personally I find shooting with primes is a purer photographic experience, ergonomically, the X-E1 and X-Pro1 bodies just beg for short, lightweight lenses.
great shots, Mike I like the second one
both are great, Mike, I prefer the first one.
Prefer the first one since the sadness in 2nd is too strong.
However, the 1st is not quite sad enough.
Mike, I like the 1st one better–and boy do I like it a lot.
The 2nd looks more staged, artificial, overly dramatic. And then I’m not really sure whether the lady isn’t trying to remove something that got into her eye.
Have you tried the Fuji zoom at all?
