Yup, I was just as surprised as you probably are, I rarely find moiré to be an issue and here we have a good example, from the Fuji X100s, nonetheless. 100% moiré crop after the break
And if you STILL don’t have one yet….you can get the Fuji X100s here at BH and here at Adorama
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Grant, I agree, foliage smear can be a problem. Using the GR for landscapes.
Hi Mike, looks a bit like moire to me. I’m definitely more concerned about smearing of detail in foliage etc., hoping Lightroom 5.2 fixes that a bit but not holding my breath. Otherwise, in my opinion, the camera is perfect
thanks ARG
I’m on an old 2010ish Macbook Pro and I can confirm that I see the moire just FYI
that’s a relief
i did change the size of it and it stays- a mild blooming pattern, from the bottom upwards, I am looking at it on a retina display, as I am zooming, it totally changes patterns and I am aware this is monitor related, the mild blooming base pattern however is always the same, appreciate any feedback – esp from retina users – on location, I can’t check it on my reg 23″
I dont see it maybe your monitor is the problem. Print it out and look again
the 3rd section to the right
Uhm … where’s the moiré you’re talking about?
