Remember:Flashback NYC

Remember: Flashback NYC from Mike Kobal on Vimeo.

One idea I have been obsessed with for a while

and every time I came across Flynn’s clips (the girl sitting on the train) I knew I had to give it a try. Flashbacks or whatever you want to call it. Started collecting clips about 2 month ago, shoot with every camera I own, the night stuff, mainly Canon 5D2 and 7D, the slow motion/blur scenes with the Panasonic GH1, the retro clip (guys playing basket ball) Olympus EP2, even the good old Nikon D90 with the Lensbaby mounted (little girl running in Brooklyn-Manhattan view, little boy running towards camera) two clips with the new Panasonic Lx5 (couple kissing and couple walking at night shot from behind) I really like the Lx5 as a street camera, all manual settings including video! (Will do a quick review of the Lx5 soon) Mostly hand held, Lenses used: Canon 70-200mm 2.8, Canon 16-35mm , 17-40mm, Zeiss 50mm 1.4, 17mm 2.8 pancake (Olympus), 7-14mm and 14-140mm Panasonic, Lensbaby Composer.
