haha. $998 to be exact. I agree, both, the FE 35mm and FE 55mm are vastly overpriced. I am definitely keeping my D800E. Really liking the A7, as my back up sensor and video brain but it certainly is no replacement for a pro tool. However, if these two Zeiss lenses had image stabilization, I would seriously consider them even at this price point.

$900 for a normal lens? and it’s actually larger than the $200 Nikkor 50 f1.8g. I’m beginning to think my D800 is good enough.
