shot with the Ricoh GR, at 1/125, f2.8 ant ISO 1600, a poorly lit corner with fewer lights on then usual, as it turned out the silent shutter was a real plus since the flower salesman was not asleep. Why the Ricoh GR again? What happened to the Fuji X100s? I still love her, don’t worry guys, however, when running errands in the rain I try to keep the bulk down and usually reach for the smallest capable camera, today was one of those days.
The GR is currently in stock at Adoramaandat BH.

thanks Seichi and Andreas! Processed in LR, converted to BW, applied slight brown tint, lifted black by 15%, dodged the fan and the arm – just like in the old days in der Dunkelkammer
pushed the overall exposure down about 1.5 stops to get the feeling of the actual scene. (great opener on your site, Andreas!)
Fantastic shot Mike! Looks like a classic. I always love your inspirational work. Can you tell us something about the processing of this picture? THX!
Glad you took the photo. I see the scene every time I come out of the L train at 1st ave. I wonder how he survives when it’s hot and muggy. Thank you for your insightful reviews.
