Joi came by for a short photo session and we fooled around with the Sony A7, the Nikkor E 75-150mm, one more image after the
break
I love shooting with those Series E vintage lenses from Nikon, a perfect match in size for the smallish A7/r bodies. For critical work and when sharpness counts, there are better choices like the Zeiss FE 55mm 1.8, FE 24-70mm and the FE 35mm.
For creative experimental portraits, you can’t go wrong with these vintage bargains.

Mike, fabulous work once again. I’ve added the Sony 35mm f2.8 Sonnar & nikkor 100mm f2.8 e series lens based on your examples of what is capable from these solid performers. Thanks once again.
Can’t go wrong with them Mike! I’ve got the 24 , 35 and 50 right now, going to be adding the 28 soon at the very least. Loving them !
Hey Josh, those OM lenses are tiny and so sharp, tempted to get a few myself.
I’ve been loving the OM Zuiko lenses on my A7, also very small.
