Thank You, Angus. The shutter is so quiet I can barely hear it :), however if they look at the lens they will see the leaf shutter move.

I understand that the x100s is über quiet and it appears as though you are quite close to your subject(s).

Thank you, George. I only had the X100 for a week before I returned it. I can’t really comment on what others say, however, if you shoot raw, processing requires a slightly different workflow, esp when it comes to sharpening, then your standard Bayer sensor. I find the trade off well worth it, colors and dynamic range, esp at higher ISO are class leading.
Mike, I love the images you are producing with the Fuji X100S. This subway shot is a beauty. I’ve read some reviews which state that some of the images from this camera appear to be flat. Same reviewers state that the X100 did not have this problem and go on to attribute it to the new sensor in the X100S.
Have you found this to be the case?
