I love this shot Craig Litten sent over and he wrote:” I’ve been testing the X-E1 like crazy (all with the zoom). Color is CRAZY-AMAZING and yesterday I tested out the continuous AF and found that it really works. Not DSLR speed, but it will work in a pinch. See attached of kid on tire swing.
Check out the swing shot after the break
This is a very hard thing for even a DSLR AF system at times because of such random movement, not to mention the very contrasty light. Shot in manual and Velvia film simulation mode — my fav.”
The B/W portrait was shot in RAW and run through LR4 with B&W filter #2. The bokeh of the 18-55 is quite impressive for a zoom as such, not to mention the 3D look. That is one fine zoom in my opinion.
