Tested the Fuji X Pro2 over the weekend, lovely camera, you might wonder why I didn’t pick one up when it came out? Well….you can probably guess I am more interested in the X T2 although I have to admit, I am very tempted to get the X-Pro2. The main caveat though is processing time, since Capture One only supports uncompressed raw files, it takes longer to import and generate previews then with A7RII files! Image quality against the A6300, the X Pro2 lags ever so slightly behind, that too was a surprise.
Tethering isn’t enabled with the Fuji’s either.
When importing files from the A6300 speed isn’t an issue and tethereing is enabled.
So in the end, post work flow issues might steer me away from Fuji again….

Snapshot of the day: The Camera Thief
caught with the Sony A6300 and the 10-18mm
Street shot of the day: Summer in the city
one of my fav shots so far this summer, snapped with the Nikon AW1
the above image is a good example that the best camera is the one that’s with you, sensor ratings don’t mean much in the real world

Street shot of the day: Fellini’s children: Sony A6300
very chilly golden hour, Coney Island. Sony A6300 with the still impressive, first generation Sony 18-200mm/f3.5 6.3
lens. OSS works very well on this lens and my copy is sharp across the whole range, even at 200mm.
