A challenging assignment, then again, are there assignments that aren’t challenging? The Zeiss 135mm 1.8, a magical magical cream machine and my favorite of them all, works very well with the LA EA4, no focus problems on this shoot (keep in mind this isn’t a sports lens). Love the combination…

shot with the A7 and the Zeiss 85mm 1.4 on the LA_EA4 wide open If you have been here before, you will remember my post with the Minolta MC 58mm 1.2, love that lens for its bokeh characteristics and the model/camera distance (or lack of it) however, mf isn’t always…

From my walk across the Brooklyn bridge today. If you look closely, you can see a faint, blurry outline of the bridge in the background to the right. Shot with the Sony A7s and the Zeiss 85mm wide open.

Another great shoot with the fantastic AG hair team, Ria and Masha ignoring winter Shot with the Sony A7 and the Zeiss 85mm f1.4 FA on the LA EA4. I love the bokeh this lens produces, nailing focus wasn’t an issue and I much prefer the EVF over the traditional…
