Hi Mike, looks a bit like moire to me. I’m definitely more concerned about smearing of detail in foliage etc., hoping Lightroom 5.2 fixes that a bit but not holding my breath. Otherwise, in my opinion, the camera is perfect

that’s a relief i did change the size of it and it stays- a mild blooming pattern, from the bottom upwards, I am looking at it on a retina display, as I am zooming, it totally changes patterns and I am aware this is monitor related, the mild blooming base pattern however is always the same, appreciate any feedback – esp from retina users – on location, I can’t check it on my reg 23″
