		<description><![CDATA[The rolling shutter effect on the GH1 varies with the frame rate.  The 1080p 24fps mode is clearly the worst.  The 720p mode 60fps is a LOT better.  The 720p 30fps MJPEG mode is somewhere in between.  I tested by shooting the sweep arm of a metronome.

Rolling shutter does not seem to vary based on shutter speed.

I can imagine that there may be similar variation with other cameras.]]></description>

I tried to invent some sort of benchmark test for rolling shutter while testing my 7D. I came up with an idea to drive a car at certain speed with the camera pointing sideways and observe the skew on street lights. 
What I ended up with was this (sorry for non-english titles):

I think it would be a good idea to post still frames cut from the movie rather than the movie itself, they give you time to see the actual skew (marked with red lines on the movie)
