zooming is no problem, of course you can’t hold it like a dslr, you have grip the lens.

Thanks for the nice look at both cameras – been waiting for someone to do that. Interesting how the GH1 is so much bigger when on paper it’s not. If only the GF1 had an external mic input and (wish) did 720p/60 video, it would be better.

Question: How do you feel zooming the GF1 with either zoom lens? I mean, does it feel “comfortable” like it does on an SLR? With the small grip, I was waving my hands around in mock motion, and it just didn’t seem “right”.

kein problem! yup, it does af automatically during recording, which makes the camera body vibrate (not much, but you can def feel it) and it hunts a lot more then the 14-140mm.

Does the 20mm 1.7 autofocuses automatically like the stock lens while recording on the gh1?
