Not sure, this is what I got from the announcement: Blackmagic promises lossless CinemaDNG to be added via firmware later, as released, the camera can capture footage in Apple’s 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes format, Blackmagic also promises to add the open, lossless CinemaDNG Raw standard later.

will the camera offer uncompressed footage out of the hdmi? that would be killer!!
