Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks in New York City: Canon 5D mark II from Mike Kobal on Vimeo.
This year the fireworks moved crosstown to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the exploration of the Hudson River by Henry Hudson. Shot from Hoboken, NJ, it was spectacular. Canon 5Dmk2 and 24-70mm at 2.8 at ISO 2000, Tripod with fluid head, edited in FCP. Music: Mozart, Turkish March, you can buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/Mozart-Rondo-Turca-Turkish-March/dp/B000JIDN5W
A bit too “descriptive” for me. Nice show anyway !
By the way, the music you used is not the overture of the Abduction from the Seraglio. It’s a transcription for orchestra of the final movement of a piano sonata (N°11) commonly knowned as “Alla Turca”
