As always your descriptions on this blog are enlightening.

 I&#039;ve noticed how close I can get with the Nokton. Yesterday, I noticed that on the G2 I can get a magnified picture with this lens by turning on the Extra Optical Zoom setting. I&#039;ll have to try it on semi-macro shots.
