Light metering and dynamic range are much better than on my Canon EOS 5D Mark II which is amazing, the compact size taken into account!

There are a few glitches I hope will be fixed in a firmware upgrade, like auto ISO not going below 400 and the flash not firing unless you manually set continuous shooting to off (if the camera can register that it is set to Continuous shooting it should also be able to set this to off when the flash is popped up and on again when the flash is not in use anymore).

Could be, the light war nice and the saturation boost probably helped. I think if you shoot raw there are very few issues with the GR, image quality rocks.

I could be wrong but it would seem that saturating the colors seems to give greater perceived depth to the image than I’m used to see on the GR. Did you set the built in noise reduction to off?
