After many days of rain we finally had a nice spring day. The urge to go outside was irresistible, I grabbed my D90, a few lenses and headed towards Union square late in the afternoon. Lots of people enjoying themselves. I was lucky that day to be invisible. Unfortunately I don’t have control over it, some days it works, some it does not, and on those days when it does not work, I don’t get anything. CAUTION: In case you are offended by nudity in abstract form – please close your eyes at 0:34 sec you can re-open them at 0:39 sec.
Lenses used: 70-200mm 2.8, 75-150mm 3.5, 17-35mm 2.8 and 58mm 1.4 (voigtlander). Most shots from Union Square, a few other clips mixed it. jazzanova – the remixes 1997-2000 – 06 – karma – high priest. Enjoy!

I agree with the others: your work is superb. It just “works”.
This was more interesting, even without the model. And it has nothing to do with the brief abstract art nudity. It’s simply…more real and has more to look at overall. I’m not a fine art critic. It shows doesn’t it? lol. But I like it. The music works well too.

the 58mm is very nice, a bid difficult to focus at 1.4 but when you hit the focus it is beautiful, the guy with the cellphone, the silhouette w hat, the little girl and the guy reading “chronicle ..world”-all shot with 58mm wide open.
What shots were taken with the Viogtlander? Talk to us about that lens. Whats your feeling.
I was thinking about that or the 50mm Zeiss F1.4
Great mixture of life in the city, Mike. I don’t know how you got so much of it in so short a time. Really well done. Nice to see Nikon’s video mode come to life.
